Beautify the Boulevard!
On July 17th, 2004 Rancho Cordova will kick off its Weed and Seed program with "Beautify the Boulevard!" -- a neighborhood beautification and cleanup of Folsom Boulevard between West La Loma and Mills Park and other entry points in the Weed and Seed Neighborhood. Rancho Cordova Weed and Seed is committed to making its neighborhood an attractive place to live for the families and individuals who live there. All interested service groups, businesses, community-based organizations, and Rancho Cordova residents are invited to join the effort which will include planting, landscaping, and picking up trash on that day.
Meet at 8:00 am at the Mills Station Building front porch that faces the south parking lot. All participants will be provided event T-shirts and served coffee, juice, and donuts. Also, lunch tickets will be passed out. (Make sure you keep these tickets not only for the barbecue lunch at noon, but also for the door prizes to be claimed at lunch!) Breakfast and lunch will be provided by Mills One Club.

Cycling in Rancho
If you cycle through Rancho Cordova, whether on the American River Parkway or Folsom Blvd., the city wants to hear from you. As it plans its first Bicycle Master Plan, city officials want to document your recommendations for better access and safer bicycle conditions. Please send your comments to Lindsey Cox
