Sky-high gas prices on the way

02/15/2012

As article in February 15 Sac Bee predicts $5-a-gallon fuel may be a reality by Memorial Day.

According to The Bee, energy analysts already are warning of a perfect storm that could drive gas prices to an all time high when the weather warms up.

California's average at-the-pump rice is now 40 cents higher than it was at this time last year.

The price could rise due to the more expensive, warm weather gasoine blends and tensions in the Middle East. Also in the mix: crude oil again closed above $10 per barrel Tuesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
