Monday through Saturday the Iron Point Connector will provide public transit options for El Dorado County residents with direct service to the Iron Point light rail station, Folsom Lake College Campus in Folsom and the Folsom Stage bus stop at Kaiser in Folsom.
Passengers may board the Iron Point Connector at the Placerville Wal-Mart stop and at the following park and ride lots – Fairgrounds, Ponderosa (on Wild Chaparral Road), Cambridge (temporary lot at Church of the Foothills on Merrychase), and El Dorado Hills (corner of Post and White Rock Road).
First bus leaves Placerville Wal-Mart stop at 5:45 AM with service every two hours from all El Dorado County stops. One-way fare is $2.50 with free fares on Fridays through August 25th.
