How it works

1. Find your bus

   • Open your favorite (Google or Apple) Maps app.

   • Enter your destination and adjust departure/arrival times.

   • Select the transit icon.

2. Purchase your fare

   • Download ZipPass to purchase bus fare directly from your smartphone

   • With ZipPass, there’s no need to worry about cash or paper tickets! Simply show your active pass to the operator when boarding your bus.

3. Find your stop and stand by the sign

4. Board the bus and pay your fare

   • Place exact change in the fare box (bills or coin),

   • Show your activated mobile pass,

   • or tap your Connect Card.

5. Request your stop

   • One block before your destination, pull the overhead cord once to ring the bell, which also turns on the "request stop" light.
